Friends In Deed

Founded in 1946, Friends In Deed is an interfaith organization that provides supportive services to meet basic human needs, so our homeless and at-risk neighbors can rebuild their lives. The Women’s Room is one of the many programs offered by Friends In Deed, and it is a day program serving homeless and at-risk women. In addition to providing supportive services, The Women’s Room is a daytime refuge offering a safe place to be, destress with arts and crafts, and connect to others in the community. Justice Cares served a holiday lunch with all of the fixings (turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, mac ‘n cheese, pie, cider, etc.). We also hand delivered 30 kits, each containing a full size lotion, perfume and soap from Bath & Body Works, feminine kits and fuzzy socks – included in each kit was a reusable drawstring bag.
