Dean Petitta

Attorney at Law

Dean Petitta

Dean was the first attorney to establish Justice Law Corporation’s Washington practice and has been instrumental in building and expanding the firm’s presence across the state. Licensed in Washington, he plays a key role in representing employees in wage-and-hour and employment matters throughout Washington, from Spokane to Seattle.

Before joining Justice Law Corporation, Dean spent several years at a national employment defense firm, where he represented employers in a wide range of workplace disputes. That experience gives him a clear understanding of how employers assess risk, defend claims, and make litigation and settlement decisions—insight he now uses to advocate effectively for workers.

Dean has handled employment matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination under both state and federal law, including cases involving disability, gender, sexual harassment, race, and national origin discrimination. He is known for approaching these matters with care and professionalism, recognizing that employment disputes are often deeply personal while still requiring disciplined legal strategy.

In addition to his employment practice, Dean brings experience in immigration and public-interest work. He has assisted startups in securing employment-based visas, supported individuals applying for U-Visas and asylum, and volunteered with the QLaw Foundation of Washington’s legal clinic. He has also served as a mediator in small claims court and externed with the Seattle City Attorney’s Office, experiences that inform his practical, resolution-focused approach.

Raised by his single grandmother in Southern California, Dean understands the critical role stable and fair employment plays in financial security. That perspective shapes his work on behalf of Washington employees and reinforces his commitment to holding employers accountable when workplace rights are violated.
