Lily Short

Attorney at Law

Lily Short

Lily Short is a zealous and determined advocate for the rights of workers. Lily joined Justice Law Corporation after working as a Public Defender in Virginia for two years. As a Public Defender, Lily defended the freedom of her clients, empowering them to advocate for themselves and bringing community support to individuals and families who needed it.

During law school, Lily was a student attorney at the Georgetown Juvenile Justice Center and a student teacher at the Georgetown Street Law Clinic. For the past seven years, she has advocated for individuals from underrepresented and marginalized communities. Through this experience, Lily has learned the importance of giving people a voice in the courtrooms, boardrooms, and closed meetings where so many decisions that affect workers’ daily lives are made. Lily aims to empower her clients to push back against unfair working conditions and recover the wages and compensation they are entitled to under California law.
