Veronica Chavez

Attorney at Law

Veronica Chavez-Bio

Veronica is an attorney at Justice Law Corporation licensed to practice in California and Washington, where she represents workers in complex wage-and-hour, discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and misclassification matters. Her practice includes both individual and class actions in state courts and before administrative agencies charged with enforcing labor and civil rights laws.

Over the course of her career, Veronica has litigated and helped lead employment cases resulting in multimillion-dollar recoveries for thousands of workers, as well as meaningful resolutions for individuals and small groups facing unlawful workplace practices. She brings a steady, informed approach to litigation, grounded in careful preparation and a clear understanding of how employment cases develop and resolve.

Before joining Justice Law Corporation, Veronica spent nearly a decade at Centro Legal de la Raza, where she ultimately served as Directing Attorney of the Workers’ Rights Program. In that role, she represented hundreds of low-wage and immigrant workers, supervised and trained attorneys and legal staff, managed program operations and budgets, and worked closely with community organizations to expand access to legal services. She also conducted trainings for law students and advocates and participated in policy and legislative advocacy efforts aimed at improving workplace conditions.

Veronica’s background combines hands-on litigation experience with leadership, training, and program management—experience that informs her ability to manage complex matters and advocate effectively for workers navigating high-stakes disputes. Clients value her clarity, judgment, and commitment to accountability when employers violate the law.

She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley.
