Winthrop Hubbard

Attorney at Law

Winthrop Hubbard-Bio

Winthrop is a Washington attorney at Justice Law Corporation who has dedicated his legal career to representing employees in employment disputes. His practice focuses on harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and class-based wage-and-hour matters across Washington State.

Winthrop’s experience spans all stages of employment litigation, from pre-litigation investigation through trial. He has represented workers in state and federal courts, taken and defended depositions, argued motions and hearings, and played a central role in trial preparation and courtroom advocacy. He has also worked on wage-and-hour class actions and complex employment matters requiring careful factual development and sustained legal pressure.

Before joining Justice Law Corporation’s Washington team, Winthrop spent several years practicing exclusively in employee-side employment law. After beginning his career in Washington, D.C., he returned to his hometown of Seattle, where he continued representing workers at established employment rights firms. His background includes meaningful trial experience, including participation in cases resulting in multi-million-dollar jury verdicts, reflecting his ability to prepare cases for presentation to a jury when resolution cannot be reached.

Winthrop’s commitment to worker advocacy began early in his career. While in law school, he interned with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Washington, D.C., where he assisted charging parties, evaluated claims, and supported administrative proceedings. That experience continues to inform his practical understanding of how employment claims are investigated and litigated.

Winthrop earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as a Senior Editor of the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law and Policy and participated in the Institute for Public Representation’s Civil Rights Clinic. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Washington.
