The Open Door Network

The Open Door Network is dedicated to stopping domestic violence and sexual assault in Kern County and helping survivors rebuild and reclaim their lives. The mission aligns with that of Justice Cares in that we share a deep commitment to empowering individuals and families to overcome adversity and achieve safety and well-being ultimately facilitating a positive change promoting a lasting impact. 

Since 2021, Justice Cares has supported The Open Door Network by providing over 150 children’s kits, each containing a blanket, coloring kit, and hygiene kit, and 50 women’s kits each containing a blanket, pair of fuzzy socks, feminine kit and hygiene kit. These kits provide essential items and a sense of comfort to individuals and families who are working with The Open Door Network.
